When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address (required for sign-in + notifications)
• Username + display name (public; you choose both)
• Profile configuration (bio, links, social URLs, follower counts you enter or that our platform APIs return)
• Subscription tier + billing reference (via Shopify)

When visitors view your public profile, we may log:

• Link clicks (timestamp + link ID, for the creator's analytics)
• Approximate country from request headers (for the creator's geo-analytics + optional geo-blocking)

We do not collect visitor email, phone number, device fingerprints, or persistent identifiers beyond standard browser sessionStorage (used for the age gate and audio consent).

// 2. HOW WE USE IT

Your account data is used exclusively to operate the service: render your public profile, authenticate you, process payments, send operational emails, and allow you to access your dashboard and admin controls if applicable.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI models.

// 3. THIRD PARTIES WE RELY ON

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, Firestore storage, Cloud Functions hosting.
• GitHub Pages — static site hosting.
• Shopify — subscription billing.
• Email extension — transactional email delivery (installed via Firebase Extensions).

Each provider has its own privacy policy. We only transmit the minimum data needed for each function.

// 4. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR / CCPA)

You may request:

• A copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your account and associated data
• Portability of your data in machine-readable format

We do not use tracking cookies. We do use browser localStorage and sessionStorage for:

• Session authentication (Firebase Auth tokens)

• TRIP OUT consent (if applicable)

All of the above are local to your browser and not transmitted to DISS0LINKZ except as needed for authentication.

// 6. CHILDREN

DISS0LINKZ is strictly for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

// 7. DATA RETENTION

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. On deletion, account data is removed from our production databases within 30 days; backups may persist for up to 90 additional days before being cycled out.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be emailed to registered operators.
